About this artwork
This drawing depicts nasturtiums with round and light shapes, made in shades of green, blue and white.
I love the natural movement of this plant, its almost floating leaves, and its free and vibrant appearance. The white flowers add small touches of light to the overall plant arrangement.
Nasturtiums often symbolize simplicity, vitality, and spontaneity. Here, they become a gentle and poetic botanical presence.
Beige tinted… paper 300mg, fine blue ink lines, blue wash, turquoise green, and white watercolor.
45 x 32 is the frame size. You can choose a black or beige frame :) .

« I often use blue because it creates a poetic distance with real life, a bridge to the imaginary. »
The way people look at you is important. The looks of my many animals, but also the looks of those who contemplate them.
I try to create a bridge, a silent conversation with nature. It is often a suspended and somewhat mysterious moment.
I paint in oil on linen canvas, often in large format, with a predilection for the range of blues.
I also draw, in ink on watercolor paper. "The blue drawings".
This color creates a poetic distance between reality and its representation, between what we look at and what we feel.
My universe was born in childhood: an inner world, populated by free animals, as well as myths.
I seek to tell a story while letting things resonate within you, somewhere between realism and imagination.
One of my paintings was recently acquired for the Standard Chartered Bank art collection.
