About this artwork
The 50 x 50 cm format refers to the frame size. The drawing is on 300mg watercolor paper.
This is the preparatory drawing for my corresponding painting: The Wolf, which can be seen in my paintings.
I created this drawing using blue ink, India ink, and felt-tip pens. I enjoy working with these animal silhouettes that advance calmly towards us, almost as if emerging from the shadows. Here, the wolf appears in a silent confrontation, at the center… of a deep black background that highlights the cool tones of its fur.
There is something frank and direct in his gaze, but without aggression—rather a kind of quiet yet intense presence. The blue and white give him an almost lunar appearance, as if he belonged to a nocturnal, intimate, somewhat magical world.
The wolf is an important symbol for me: it represents instinct and freedom.
The drawing can be sold unframed, price negotiable.

I try to create a bridge, a silent conversation with nature. It is often a suspended and somewhat mysterious moment.
I paint in oil on linen canvas, often in large format, with a predilection for the range of blues.
I also draw, in ink on watercolor paper. "The blue drawings".
