About this artwork
I created this work starting from the idea of transforming waste into beauty, the useless into desire. Before you stands an iconic car, the car of the famous Diabolik, a symbol of charm, mystery, and power.
I made it entirely with scrap metal, steel, and marble dust, elements that, when combined, create a contrasting material of brilliance, strength, and uniqueness.
Each fragment tells the story of a rebirth: what was destined to be forgotten now… becomes the protagonist, a jewel made of imperfections that shines with meaning and history.
In this work, the sheen of metal and the purity of marble interact to create something extraordinary, a symbol of elegance and transgression that anyone would like to possess.
