When the sculptor makes a poem of his own emotions, he feels them, lives them... stimulates them, a totally different sculpture appears, without strange color, they are the texture, tone and quality of the naked steel, just as it comes out of the workshop, from the fire, from the torsion, Just a few welding points to emphasize the dynamic balance of emotions, of metals, of weights.
A timeless sculpture, like the emotions of the builder...and the… observer. The stillness and stark truth of black steel, just as it is: that is its strength, its identity.
Its free and elegant lines convey movement and energy, like a whisper that invites reflection. Placed in your space, it will fill the environment with harmony and strength, reminding us of the beauty of being authentic in our own skin.
« Is art the human capacity that allows the perceptions of the soul to be transferred to the senses? »
Teo San Jose is an award-winning Spanish sculptor whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy, the United Kingdom, France and America. Specializing in monumental sculpture, he seeks to create ‘spaces of serenity’ within each viewer. San Jose's abstract steel pieces are minimalistic in nature. The simplicity and movement conveyed within his compositions are inspired by Chinese and Japanese calligraphy.
