In this piece, I used watercolor to capture a subtle yet powerful emotion, playing with abstract forms that suggest movement and calm. I sought to convey serenity and a touch of contained energy, inviting the viewer to a quiet and profound reflection. I imagine that in your space, this painting will bring a breath of fresh air and a harmony that connects with the essential and ethereal.
In the Shumi-e series, each painting is a poem; in this case,… the meditation was based on the image of spring. It is part of a series of paintings about the emotions that the different seasons have evoked in me, "like energy." Therefore, it is a work that exudes spontaneity and a strong sense of the dynamic balance so necessary in our lives. It is a meditation on life...
