About this artwork
The new man is an androgynous being, caught in conventions, prejudices and an undefined self-image. This painted shell of technology, images and senseless functions is a tank and a prison at the same time.
Accepting these circumstances is the first step in solving the problem.
« I like art that combines old and new, is professionally made, has a sense of humor, arouses curiosity, makes you smarter, and which you never forget. »
Thomas Johannsmeier is an experienced painter and a draftsman whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Russia, the Netherlands, and France.
