About this artwork
Faces 8 was created with intimacy in mind. Unlike my larger works, this 1x1 meter painting is meant to fit comfortably into smaller spaces—like a living room—without losing its emotional weight.
The composition still follows my signature approach: layering fragments of color and form to let hidden faces emerge from abstraction. But here, the energy is more contained, more personal.
Warm yellows and reds rise like fire from the top, while greens… and cooler tones settle below—like a layered memory. Faces flicker between recognition and disappearance, reminding us how emotion doesn’t always need clarity to be felt.
In this smaller format, Faces 8 becomes a quiet conversation piece. It doesn’t overwhelm, but it holds attention. It’s about presence, mystery, and the beauty of things only half-seen.
Whether noticed across the room or studied up close, it offers something new each time—calm, movement, reflection.
