Faces 13 is one of the most vibrant expressions of my evolving “new cubism”—a hand-painted system of fractured geometry driven not by logic, but by emotion. At 100 x 100 cm, the canvas pulses with energy. Faces emerge through a mosaic of intense reds, yellows, and blues, colliding in a dense, dynamic field.
Unlike earlier works that lean into softness or introspection, Faces 13 is bold and immediate. Each polygonal fragment acts like a flicker of… sensation—anger, joy, tension, electricity—held together in a barely-contained structure.
This piece reimagines Cubism not as an intellectual dissection of form, but as a way to map emotional chaos. The faces are present, but unstable—constantly reforming, like flashes of memory or a conversation remembered in fragments.
Faces 13 is about impact. About how emotion doesn’t always unfold gently—sometimes it arrives all at once. It’s a portrait of psychological saturation, told through hand-crafted shards of feeling, color, and presence.
