About this artwork
“Quiet Yellow” was created during a period when I craved stillness—not silence, but the kind of calm that holds subtle vibrations beneath the surface. I was fascinated by how yellow, often seen as loud and bright, could be used to evoke softness, introspection, and quiet energy.
Through textured layers of acrylic, I sculpted a luminous field that feels like light trying to speak in whispers. Bits of red and black break through like passing thoughts… or emotional echoes. It’s a landscape of memory and feeling, not geography.
