About this artwork
This bronze sculpture develops through a vertical structure composed of slender elements that intertwine and open upward. The forms, while maintaining an abstract character, suggest an organic tension and dynamic growth, as if the work were an organism emerging from the ground and expanding into space.
The surfaces, marked by a patina of alternating green and brown hues, amplify the dialogue between light and material, making the bronze vibrate… and highlighting the rhythm of the lines. The arches and internal openings create a pattern of solids and voids that allows the gaze to traverse the sculpture, making the space an integral part of the composition.
The work was born from the search for a balance between solidity and lightness: the mass of the bronze is transformed into an almost architectural structure, where vertical tensions evoke growth, energy and upward movement.
