About this artwork
The Gorilla is the largest of the apes. It is a herbivorous and peaceful animal but with extraordinary strength. The artist imagined him trying to scare an enemy with a display of aggression. This light blue Gorilla is a multiple and is part of a series obtained with a mold from an original modeled in red clay by the author who then colored it, after firing, with acrylic glazes and with a light, subsequent layer of wax.

Daniele Nannini is an experienced sculptor and designer based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally and in Germany. In addition, his pieces are featured in publications such as Zoom Magazine, LIBER, etc. Begining his career as an illustrator for children's books, Nannini's drawings have always emphasized volumes. He now creates with clay, with a geometric measure in mind.
