About this artwork
The partially disintegrating face becomes a metaphor for transformation: the quiet violence of change, the exposure of what usually remains… concealed beneath appearance. The gesture of the hands intensifies this tension, suggesting both fear and the instinctive attempt to hold together what is inevitably shifting.
For me, this work speaks about revelation not as clarity, but as confrontation — the unsettling beauty of seeing what exists underneath the masks we construct around ourselves.
