About this artwork
In this abstract work, I used acrylic and gesso to explore time and its cyclical nature. The numerical shapes and the central drop represent a suspended moment, a balance between chaos and order. I want the viewer to feel a calm yet vibrant energy, an invitation to reflect on the constant flow of existence. This piece will bring a meditative and intense atmosphere to your home.

Gastone Cecconello (Vercelli, 1942) has been working for over sixty years in painting, sculpture, and mixed media. His visual language—based on the figure of the hominid as a metaphor for the human condition—arises from the dialogue between matter and symbol, between the archaic and the contemporary.
He has exhibited in over one hundred solo shows in Italy and abroad: Columbia University in New York, Staatsuniversität Hamburg, the Italian Cultural Institute in Vienna, and Galerie Man Arte in Paris. Critic Pierre Restany has written about his work. His career is documented in the monograph Alle origini del mito (Silvana Editoriale, 2012).
At over eighty years old, he still works every day in his studio in Salussola, Biella.
