About this artwork
The inspiration was the statement "...and in the gardens there is the silence for which we no longer have time".
The sun in the empty circle in the upper middle of the picture is symbolic of the silence that stands glowing over a garden full of daisies in the first picture. Its value and thus the meaning of silence is emphasized by the execution with a gold pen.
The blossom, which is leaning back towards the ground, shows the sadness of the disdain… for silence. Nevertheless, the magnificent daisies in the middle of the picture are still touched by it. Buds and other blossoms are in motion and striving away, representing time and the search for silence.
In the second picture, the gold pen also highlights the middle daisy from the darkness of the leaves and flowers.
The design of the fence is remarkable: no massive demarcation, presence only through the blue of the sky. (Also available to purchase separately.)
