About this artwork
I found this boat in a drydock in France and was attracted by the colours of the hull. It was sitting on a trailer ready to be towed away, and I like to speculate about what would happen to it after that.
The image is a 'very close, closeup' of the underside of the boat, showing the tip of the blue area, which is not in fact yet the prow of the boat. I liked the way the paint streaks radiate from the keel in a symmetrical fashion.
