About this artwork
In 2025, Singapore hosted an immersive tribute to Jean Michel Basquiat. Selected to create site-specific murals in dialogue with Basquiat’s legacy, Singapore-based artist Mihov stood out for his conceptual rigor. The One Basq series was a trio of re-imagined banknotes-style large chalk murals, blending street art, pop culture, and financial symbolism.
