In this painting from the "Departure" series, I worked with numerous textured layers of paint to capture the flowing energy of a sunrise. The impressionistic interplay of colors depicts the moment when light and nature merge, full of hope and new beginnings. This creates a great sense of depth and unique lighting effects. The bright yellows, oranges, and reds on the horizon pique the viewer's curiosity about what lies beyond. One longs to embark…
