About this artwork
My fascination with how 'we' interact at the margins between land and sea has always been part of my DNA. I have always been drawn to the constant movement along the shoreline be it in a harbour setting, the sea on a stoney beach, a cliff edge or lapping waves on the shoreline. I prefer to express the colours more as my reaction to that moment in the landscape rather than represent them as 'local colour' representationally. For me it is more about…
