About this artwork
My expressive use of the palette knife enables a freedom of expression that opens its abstract forms, suggesting a landscape where sky and earth meet in a symphony of colour.
Not every painting tells you where to look—some invite you to wander.
After 15 years of painting, I have discovered that my most meaningful work allows room for imagination. Many of my contemporary landscape paintings—particularly my miniature abstract oil works—deliberately… avoid a central focal point. This choice aligns with my expressionist approach, giving collectors the freedom to experience the art in their own way.
Responses vary. Some collectors describe the openness as freeing, while others find it unexpected. Both are valid because each reflects a personal connection to the work.
For me, collectable art is always a dialogue. Each original oil painting is an invitation to pause, to reflect, and to discover a fragment of yourself within the landscape.

I paint what I feel. After a life in finance, the palette knife became my primary way of speaking, plainly, without ornament. My subject is land, sea, and sky, held less as record than as memory of standing inside them.
I work in oils, building surface until it holds weight, something to be touched as much as seen, according to those who collect my work. Whether the canvas is small enough to hold in one hand or large enough to walk into, the intention doesn't change: a place that is as much interior as it is geographical.
In my mid-70s, I look for Self in the work, a thing being entirely itself, answerable to no one. The work says what I couldn't otherwise say. What you find in it is yours.
