The work already includes a white "American" style frame.
I created a collage starting from the original Topolino comic n. 1866 from the 1990s as a tribute to Federico Fellini and his film "La Strada".
In the center, I set Fellini's silhouette, sculpted from scraps of mechanical processing (steel and titanium), to transform industrial material into memory and mystery. Like Mickey Mouse in the top left.
The work poses a question: which path should… we follow? It invites the viewer to choose their own path, to confront doubt and the possibility of charting their own path.
Silvana Di Vora, a self-taught artist, uses watercolor, acrylic on canvas, and scrap materials to create works brimming with light and movement. She experiments with figurative and abstract art, using rapid brushstrokes and intense monochromes, highlighting the three-dimensionality and luminosity of unexpected details. Her works, often melancholic and dynamic, convey that even from darkness, the most intense light and vibrant color can emerge, instilling vitality and hope in the viewer.
