About this artwork
In this piece, I assembled a sticker I have found in the street with a stitched respons to it, a Moon card which I designed and printed as a result of one of my swalkeling trips, draws all the elements together.
Working between, printed and mass produced objects and delicate hand made marks, I have created a conversation piece about the value and relationship of these objects to each other.
There is a balance between structure and softness, the… abstract lines reveal an intricate dance, while the objects anchor the composition with a touch of rhythm and symbolism.
This art work will invite contemplation on our connection between the material world and our cultural understanding of the cycles that shape our lives.
