Serenity, unity and movement. Sculpture made for the exhibition: "Sculptures for a Zen garden", at the Frax Foundation. Alicante. Spain, and at the Abartium Gallery in Barcelona. It is a work, unique, where the subtlety of the forms invite us to look into the distance, to the horizon, to infinity. A perfect sculpture for a garden with a horizon line or on the edge of a swimming pool. The reflection of the sculpture in the water generates an indescribable… emotion. The relationship between the exterior and the interior space allows us to feel when we move as if the sculpture was breathing, that breath of life that gives it the intense red color. With a height of 220 cm. it conveys the sensation of being much larger, perhaps due to the push generated by its protruding element, which induces us to look into the distance, towards the sky or towards that sunset that sifts the sculpture of a warm orange color. They connect me with the arms of the Balinese dancers.
« Is art the human capacity that allows the perceptions of the soul to be transferred to the senses? »
