About this artwork
Ulla Kutter has painted a scene at a fair in a spectacular perspective. A car from the "Krake" hovers over the viewer. Countless LEDs can be seen in many colors. The details of the decorations are quoted and are picture-in-picture of an underwater scene on the hull of the device. You almost get dizzy looking at it. In the middle of the picture, a couple is sitting in one of the carriages, hugging each other and enjoying the wild ride. It's not dark…
yet, the sky is also moving wildly and in the background you can see part of the city of Hamburg: the television tower. The ground is damp and reflects everything. The mood of the painting is strongly sentimental and romantic.
