About this artwork
This is a picture of a scene in a port: a tugboat maneuvers a container ship to the right berth. Ulla Kutter captures the light and the enormous expanse of the sky above the water. For inspiration, the painter took a harbor ferry across the Elbe River in her hometown of Hamburg. Great cloud ships correspond to the great ship.
