About this artwork
This is an edition from the "human flow WALL" series with a limited edition of 6 pieces.
The works "human flow WALL #7-12" consist of the wood types maple, cherry and mahogany.
The veneers were connected with each other through a precise, planned project in such a way that they taper irregularly towards the bottom and thus create a flowing dynamic.
"Human flow" was derived from the aphorism of the Greek natural philosopher Heraclitus of Ephesus:… "Pantha rhei" - everything flows.
Just as the water in the stream is always in motion, so all things, living beings and phenomena in the world are always changing.
Everything changes and evolves, nothing stays the same.
The surface of the sculpture is planed and left natural.
The frame is made of basswood and has no background plate.
In addition, the frame was covered in several layers with white acrylic paint.
