About this artwork
The artist assembled the work "human cubes WALL 99" from 99 blocks of olive wood. These were firmly connected with beech wood dowels and glue.
The surface of the olive wood is completely natural and rough sawn, only the edges are sanded.
The frame is made of linden wood, which has been treated with a translucent white oil.
As a result, the wood retains its natural color and does not darken.
The back wall is made of MDF board with white acrylic… paint.
There is a hanger on the back for easy wall mounting.
All sculptures by Manfred Hellweger are unique.
