The sculpture human flow HATI by Manfred Hellweger was precisely welded from 4mm & 5mm square steel and painted black matt with acrylic lacquer.
The linearly arranged elements create a permeable structure in which the body is experienced not as mass, but as movement and flow.
Empty spaces and interstitial areas are an essential part of the form and allude to change and transformation. The reduced color palette emphasizes light, shadow, and… rhythm, making the industrial material appear almost immaterial.
The title HATI refers to tamed power and inner tension. The upright, fragile appearance represents the balance between stability and dissolution.
The work is signed and dated on the underside.
