About this artwork
As part of the "human flow" series, the sculpture addresses the… constant change and transience of human existence. Depending on the viewing angle, its effect changes, creating the impression of a flowing movement.
The surface of the marble is finely polished and left in its natural state. The work is presented on a waxed steel base.
Due to the adhesive technology used, “human flow ELARA” is only conditionally suitable for permanent outdoor use, as the stone adhesive can yellow under intense UV radiation.
Total weight: 81 kg

« I have always been fascinated by abstracting the human body in order to depict it in a simple and elegant form. »
He is particularly known for his minimalist approach, in which he reduces forms to their essential elements.
Hellweger's work embodies the idea that nothing is permanent; everything evolves and changes. Each of his sculptures reflects a deep engagement with the materials and themes he explores.
Despite their simplicity, his works are deeply expressive and, by reducing them to the essentials, offer a metaphor for mindfulness and contentment.
