About this artwork
The work “human flow WALL I” consists of 4 different types of wood:
Maple, walnut, linden and larch.
Through precise, planned planning, the veneers were connected in such a way that they taper off irregularly towards the bottom, thereby creating a flowing dynamic.
“human flow” was derived from the aphorism of the Greek natural philosopher Heraclitus of Ephesus: “Pantha rhei” – everything flows.
Just as the water in a stream is always moving,… all things, living beings and phenomena in the world are always changing.
Everything changes and develops, nothing stays the same.
The surface of the sculpture is brushed and natural.
The frame is made of linden wood, MDF board and white acrylic paint.
There is a hanger on the back for easy mounting on the wall.
All sculptures by Manfred Hellweger are unique.
