About this artwork
This is an oil painting of the very talented Rock and Blues guitarist Jimmy Hendrix .He had sounds coming out of his guitar that couldn't be duplicated by anybody else. He was largely self taught, but largely influenced by artist like Muddy Waters B.B King Little Richard, just to name a few. He had an almost magical presents on stage . playing the guitar behind his back , with his teeth and even setting it on fire. I tried to do a painting that to…

Alan Reddick is a painter and sculptor who draws on a diverse self-taught background, shaped by observing masters like Seurat, Picasso, and Duchamp.
