Mohammad – oil painting on canvas, 2025
My work Mohammad (20 × 20 cm, 2025) is a small format with great expressiveness. The entire work was executed in oil – from the primer to the final, translucent layers. This creates a special depth that can be experienced both in the color and in the tactile structure.
The surface is structured in relief, marked by traces reminiscent of leaves, roots, or sediment. Green tones in varying shades overlap with… subtle nuances of yellow and earthy accents. The result is an organic, vibrant texture that doesn't depict nature but rather allows us to experience it anew in an abstract form.
Although Mohammad is an intimate, small-scale work, its detail has an almost monumental impact. For me, it is a concentrated reflection on the power and complexity of nature.
