Nushi – oil painting on canvas, 2025
My work Nushi (50 × 40 cm, 2025) was created entirely in oil—from the grounding to the final layers. The relief-like surface bears imprints of organic structures reminiscent of leaves, twigs, and natural sediments. This creates a vibrant texture that continually challenges the eye.
The dominant green tones unfold in subtle nuances of astonishing depth: from luminous light green to earthy, almost mysterious… dark green shades. Subtle accents of yellow and blue appear in between, creating movement and dynamism.
Nushi is part of my series "At the End of Green," in which I intertwine nature, weather phenomena, and human perception. For me, this work is a meditative reflection on the power, stillness, and simultaneous restlessness that green can symbolize in all its diversity.
