ANGEL: Heavenly Embrace
This bust was born from a "need for comfort, as if by creating it, I was sewing up an absence
In a moment of inner withdrawal, I felt the need to create a bridge between the visible and the invisible, between the real and the sacred.
Angel is inspired by Renaissance figures but also by sacred archetypes present in Kabbalah and mystical traditions.
This "divine messenger" embodies the gentleness and strength of the "Shekhina,"… the feminine divine Presence, while becoming a threshold: a suspended space where matter is charged with a protective and luminous energy.
Each element—feather, gilding, ceramic—was placed as an offering, inviting openness to a subtle blessing.
There are parts of me that I can only approach through representations of angels.
It is a “jewel-like creation” which offers the codes of the Baroque universe: gilding, roses, Renaissance paintings
