About this artwork
The small scale Arch No.76 in yellow cedar could be suitable for a desk, a shelf or another special place. There is plenty of character in the wood used for this piece, from the bluish speckles, to the variegated grain coloration, to even the hairline checks in the end grain from the drying process. It is, overall, a very light yellowish cream in colour and exudes a sense of purity in its brightness. Yellow cedar tends to darken slightly over the course of many years, especially if exposed to direct sunlight.
