About this artwork
My work depicts the majestic head of a deer, a silhouette sculpted in the darkness, made from scraps of mechanical processing (steel, titanium). These fragmented elements that compose the figure stand out against a deep, dark background, almost as if emerging from the darkness.
For me, this deer is not only a symbol of power and beauty, but also a profound reminder of the cyclical nature of life. Its antlers, lost and reformed each year, speak to… me of the countless things we too lose throughout our existence. Yet, precisely through these losses, I feel we search for things, perhaps ourselves, with an even greater intensity, a new strength that drives us to rebuild and rediscover our splendor.
