About this artwork
"Baciami ancora" by Massimo Rubbi is a work that captures the intensity and passion of a kiss between two women. The artist uses a painting technique that plays with chromatic contrasts, creating an image that oscillates between the figurative and the abstract.
The figures are barely sketched, the bodies blend into a tangle of lines and colors. The faces are not defined, but attention is focused on the lips that join in a passionate kiss.
The… title "Kiss me again" suggests a desire for repetition, a need to prolong that moment of intimacy. The kiss becomes the symbol of a love that is not satisfied with a single instant, but that aspires to continuous confirmation.
Rubbi's work is a hymn to love and passion, an invitation to let yourself be carried away by emotions. The painting is an explosion of colors and energy, an image that remains imprinted in the mind of the viewer
« "Every sign traced, and sound emitted by me, always arouses the same amazement and emotions as if all this were for the first time." »
