About this artwork
This is an image of the Brooklyn Bridge in 1912 silhouetted in a modern day background. it was inspired by an ad I saw in a news paper as well as one day driving over the bridge to go to work an my car breaking down at the foot of the bridge I had to walk over the bridge on a very cold day it was about 4.30am and the bridge was all lit up. it was very euphoric I enjoyed every step of walking over the bridge. This event heavily inspired me to create…

Alan Reddick is a painter and sculptor who draws on a diverse self-taught background, shaped by observing masters like Seurat, Picasso, and Duchamp. He skillfully blends pointillism, cubism, and dynamic composition with his own distinctive motifs—floating musical instruments, geometric forms, and vivid hues of violet, orange, and indigo. His works radiate vibrancy and motion, passionately conveying the exuberance of music, the richness of nature, and the adventurous spirit of life. He is a graduate of Morehouse College with a degree in arts and communications . He has been in various galleries principally in the New York City area of both his sculptures and paintings .He has exhibited with such lauded artist as Romare Bearden Jacob Lawrance, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse , and Joan Miro.
