About this artwork
In this work I have captured the vibrant essence of spring with a pair of blue tits perched on the branch of a cherry blossom tree. In spring is when the blue tit shows off its best clothes. It is one of the most beautiful birds in Europe and also one of the most abundant, friendly and trusting. The blue tit is considered a symbol of love, loyalty and hope. I used oil paints to capture the subtlety of light and color, reflecting the ephemeral beauty…
of the cherry tree in full bloom as a symbol of prosperity and good luck. This work radiates the joy and dynamism of a season that is reborn, symbolizing the renewal of life.
Oil on Velázquez linen (100% linen), stretched in an artisanal way with nails on a premium pine wood frame with 47 x 17 mm slats, with handmade assembly.
