This sculpture was made from Lasa marble.
“Grown together” is an aesthetic, abstract shape with different surface treatments.
Depending on the incidence of light, the finest lines in the stone can be seen on the scratched surface. On the other hand, the shape was only roughly indicated as a contrast in the lower area with a toothed iron.
Combined with precise edges and curved lines, this work creates a harmonious overall picture.
The surface… is natural.
Lasa marble is a very hard, tough and weather-resistant marble from South Tyrol (Italy). For this reason, this sculpture is also suitable for outdoor use.
All sculptures by Manfred Hellweger are unique.
