About this artwork
For me, Lennon hasn't just been a musician I've always admired; he represents the courage to create from inner truth, without questioning why.
In this work, I seek not only to portray his image, but to continue his artistic and philosophical vision through the texts he himself wrote.
I decided to paint the words in an almost illegible way, so that their reading isn't literal, but spiritual. In this way, the writing ceases to be text and transforms… into visual matter, texture, and energy that gives shape to the portrait.
