About this artwork
I have always been impressed with concerts . Ive been to many jazz concerts in my life time ,as wells a few classical concerts. I had in my mind doing a painting of a pianist with a flautist in a concert on a stage in a very colorful well lit stage. So I created a painting and titled it the Concert Pianist I . I had it at a showing and it sold .so I did two more of these painting only this time I used a bass with the pianist and titled it Concert…

Alan Reddick is a painter and sculptor who draws on a diverse self-taught background, shaped by observing masters like Seurat, Picasso, and Duchamp. He skillfully blends pointillism, cubism, and dynamic composition with his own distinctive motifs—floating musical instruments, geometric forms, and vivid hues of violet, orange, and indigo. His works radiate vibrancy and motion, passionately conveying the exuberance of music, the richness of nature, and the adventurous spirit of life. He is a graduate of Morehouse College with a degree in arts and communications . He has been in various galleries principally in the New York City area of both his sculptures and paintings .He has exhibited with such lauded artist as Romare Bearden Jacob Lawrance, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse , and Joan Miro.
