The sculpture is supported by a fragment of an old hanza – one of those simple yet indispensable wooden frames once used by farmers during the hay harvest. With the advent of modern harvesting technology, these silent helpers have almost disappeared, becoming relics of a bygone working… world. In this series of works, they experience a quiet rebirth and, freed from their original function, enter into a new artistic dialogue.
The upper section of the steel sculpture was worked with various tools, creating subtle textures and reflections. A coating of matte clear lacquer protects the surface from oxidation and gives it a timeless durability.

Manfred Hellweger is an Austrian sculptor whose works are already represented by collectors worldwide. He is particularly known for his minimalist approach, in which he reduces forms to their essential elements. Hellweger's work embodies the idea that nothing is permanent; everything evolves and changes. Each of his sculptures reflects a deep engagement with the materials and themes he explores. Despite their simplicity, his works are deeply expressive and, by reducing them to the essentials, offer a metaphor for mindfulness and contentment.
